Meet The Directors:
Michael Peters is a camera and post-production specialist with a deep technical understanding of cinema gear and workflows. He’s worked on over a dozen productions, often in grip & electric positions or operating the camera directly. Known for being a DaVinci Resolve expert, he often creates stylized color grades to accompany his smooth, crisp visuals.
Prior to founding RYZE, he served as a production assistant on a Lumineers music video, and was a freelance videographer. He is now a relentless creative force, constantly pushing himself to new levels at the company.
Jeff Hauck has hands-on experience in many roles across video & film production—producing, directing, cinematography, gaffing, editing, coloring, sound—and he’s got a soft spot for each. An award-winning filmmaker, Jeff has worked on almost 30 productions, many of which have been honored & screened nationwide. He is known for his professional, yet easy-going nature, and his ability to create powerfully unique cinematic frames.
He had his producer & colorist debut featured at the Cannes’ Next-Gen showcase, and aside from RYZE, he currently serves as a commercial director of photography for Better Painting, St. Louis.
This partnership has access to professional studios, cutting-edge equipment, and a thriving creative community in New York. Fulfilling every need, RYZE takes on in-person projects across the East Coast and remote collaborations nationwide. Our mission?
